Ake, De Bruyne, Sterling: How Manchester City could line up against Wolves

Manchester City will finally get their 2020-21 Premier League campaign underway on Monday as they  are set to visit Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux. The Citizens are the last of the 20 top-flight teams to begin their campaign, and they could barely have been handed a more difficult start having lost home and away to Wolves last season. Now Pep Guardiola's side will be prepared to show their best and took three points with them. Here is how Manchester City could line up against Wolves. Ederson will be in the goal, with Benjamin Mendy, newcomer Nathan Ake, Eric Garcia and Kyle Walker being in defence. Phil Foden's off-field antics while on international duty with England may prevent him from starting this time and so the youngster could sit out this opener, with Ilkay Gundogan, Rodri and newly-crowned PFA Player of the Year Kevin De Bruyne making up the midfield. Gabriel Jesus will continue to lead the attacking line, as Sergio Aguero is ruled out with knee injury. Raheem Sterling is expected to feature on the left after topping City's scoring charts last term. Bernardo Silva remains a doubt after picking up a quadriceps injury while on international duty, while Riyad Mahrez could be ready to start after recovering from coronavirus.
