TOP 10 Football Transfers that could happen this summer

This 2018/19 football season can be considered as one of the best and unpredictable seasons of all time. There were many surprises and historical comebacks in the Champions League. In the Premier League, until the last day of the game, it was not clear who would become a champion and the fight was more than hot for top-four places. Real Madrid's dominance in Europe and La Liga ended, while Ajax's youngsters dethroned them and Cristiano Ronaldo, who played for Juventus. Four English teams will compete in the Champions League and Europa League finals for the first time in history. This season is gradually approaching its logical end and begins the period when the strong clubs will try to keep their strength and the losers will do everything to strengthen their squads. The transfer window in the Premier League is officially open. And we want to take a look at the transfers that could happen this summer. Antoine Griezmann to FC Barcelona Griezmann has announced that he has told Atletico Madrid of his intention to leave the club, opening the door for a €125m move to Barcelona this summer. Having signed a five-year extension last summer, the French forward made the shocking statement last month by Atletico’s official social media channels after meeting with Diego Simeone and the chief executive, Miguel Angel. La Liga champions are struggling to make an impact on the European competitions, so they will now look to sign Griezmann. The World Cup winner could bolster their attack and give nightmares to the oppositions. Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester United Manchester United are set to undergo a major overhaul this summer, with reinforcements needed in a number of positions. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is getting close to completing a deal to bring Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester United. Napoli defender Koulibaly is believed to be a prime target for Solskjaer having impressed in Serie A this season. United have been linked with Koulibaly for a pretty long time. The 27-year-old could cost no less than £75m - the exact fee Liverpool paid to prize Virgil van Dijk away from Southampton last year. Joao Felix to Manchester City Manchester City are serious about the acquisition of Joao Felix, despite the interest of almost all major European clubs, with Juventus reportedly being one of the biggest suitors of the Portuguese starlet. As reported by Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Pep Guardiola would be willing to sacrifice Gabriel Jesus in the summer transfer market to finance the purchase of the Benfica star. The 19-year-old Superstar has a release clause around  €180 million. Guardiola wants to bolster his attack and City could be pulling out a surprise here and lend him this summer. Timo Werner to Liverpool Liverpool will be looking to seek redemption and clinch their 6th European Cup when they face Tottenham in the finals of the UEFA Champions League. There’s a genuine possibility that the Reds might bring Timo Werner to strengthen their attack ahead of the next season. Red Bull Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has admitted Liverpool are in the race to sign Timo Werner. Bayern Munich are believed to be keen on the Germany international, but striker may want to play under Jurgen Klopp. The 23-year-old scored 16 goals in 30 games for Leipzig and created seven assists. Phillipe Coutinho to Liverpool Coutinho, who moved to Barcelona in a £105 million move in January 2018, has endured a torrid season at Camp Nou and has been on the receiving end of harsh criticism for his inability to justify his price tag on the pitch. Some sources believe Liverpool should provide Coutinho with an escape route from Barcelona. The Brazil international could bring a new level of creativity to the Reds squad. Granted that an attacker of his stature won't come easy, reliable publications are suggesting that The Catalans would be looking to off-load him this summer. Paul Pogba to Real Madrid Paul Pogba has struggled to make an impression this season and the Red Devils failed to make it to the TOP four. The France international has endured a largely difficult campaign at Old Trafford, initially thriving under Jose Mourinho's successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before his form tailed off dramatically towards the end of the season.  There’s a genuine chance that Pogba may leave the club in the summer. With Zinedine Zidane eyeing Pogba as a strong contender to elevate Real Madrid's credentials next season, The French legend could be preparing a lucrative deal to sign United's No 6. Matthijs de Ligt to F.C. Barcelona Barcelona is close to finalizing a deal for Ajax defender de Ligt., who has emerged as one of the hottest properties in European football. The Catalans have been chasing de Ligt for a long time, having already signed his compatriot and best friend Frenkie de Jong in January. The 19-year-old's arrival to Nou Camp could also signal an end for French defender Samuel Umtiti, who has seen his playing time is limited due to a recurring knee injury this season. De Ligt will only increase Barcelona's chances of bringing home the UEFA Champions League next season. Gareth Bale to Tottenham  (on loan) Tottenham have reportedly been offered a deal to re-sign Gareth Bale on loan from Real Madrid. Bale left Spurs in 2013  when Real made him the world’s most expensive player at the time with an £86million transfer fee. The Welshman is on a hugely lucrative contract at the Bernabeu but he is not valued highly by head coach Zinedine Zidane. According to The Sun, Bale earns more than £600,000 per week but Real will allow him to leave on loan if a club agrees to pay £250,000 of the 29-year-old's wage plus a £10m fee. Eden Hazard to Real Madrid  Hazard’s move to Real Madrid has been rumoured for God knows how many months now. Hazard is more than likely to move Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid this summer. Chelsea star has made a decision on his future and told the club what he plans to do at the end of the season. The Belgium international not extended his contract at Stamford Bridge, which expires in 2020. Chelsea reportedly want €130million for the forward. Paulo Dybala to Atletico Madrid Atletico Madrid are considering a move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala as a contingency plan should Antoine Griezmann exit. The 25-year-old has started just 22 matches in Serie A this campaign for the Bianconeri with his significance reduced by last summer’s arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. Atleti are worried that Griezmann will leave the club this summer and they will need to bring in one high-profile forward to replace him.
