Three Manchester United players could be back from injury vs Tottenham

Manchester United have received a triple boost ahead of their Premier League clash against Tottenham on Sunday.

Luke Shaw, who has been absent for the last three games due to an undisclosed injury, could be fit for the upcoming match, according to manager Erik ten Hag.

Despite missing 11 players in their recent FA Cup third-round win against Wigan, United are hopeful of having Harry Maguire as well back after nearly five weeks, while Christian Eriksen, despite being unwell, is also expected to be available against his former club

"Yeah. I think there will be some players (back). I think it's hopeful they can be back at the weekend," Ten Hag said, via Manchester Evening News. "I'm talking about Christian Eriksen, potentially Luke Shaw. Harry maybe. Mason (Mount) needs some days more."

Ten Hag acknowledged the challenges posed by unexpected absences but expressed confidence in the team's ability to perform well with the available players.

Despite numerous injuries and illnesses, United fielded a strong side in their recent match, securing a victory by more than a one-goal margin for only the third time this season.
