Repubblica: Tottenham make their first offer for €40m-rated Serie A attacker

Tottenham have made their first offer for Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard, according to Repubblica (via The Spurs Web). Spurs have been linked with the move for the 21-year-old for the summer transfer window, with the club boss Nuno Espirito Santo being eager to improve the squad for the upcoming season. Now the report claims that the bid for the attacker's transfer is higher than €20m whilst Sampdoria want €40m for their man.
