Nuno Espirito Santo reacts to Harry Kane training absence

Nuno Espirito Santo has reacted to Harry Kane's absence from Tottenham training and the current tense situation. Spurs played a 2-2 draw with Chelsea in a pre-season friendly, with Hakim Ziyech, Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn all marking their names on the scoresheet. And after the game Spurs new head coach Nuno was asked about Kane situation, to which he responded:

"I'm sorry, but I'm not going to talk about Harry Kane now. Let's discuss about the game, did you watch it?   "Try to avoid any kind of public argument or discussion about it. We have to solve the situation with Kane.   "Harry is our player, period. No need to talk about anything else.   "Now is the moment for Harry to recover his energy, to rest. When he comes again we will have time to speak.   "We will have good conversations, but now is the moment for Harry to rest and to prepare for what’s coming, and I’m looking forward to him joining the group and start working together.   "I’m excited to work with all the players - of course he’s a top player, one of the best players in the world. What is best is to work with the best players around, and Harry’s one of the best players around."
