Real Madrid president Florentino Perez provides Raphael Varane update amid Manchester United links

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed his side have not received any official bids for French defender Raphael Varane this summer. Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the 28-year-old, however are reluctant to meet Madrid's £80m valuation as the defender is out of contract next year. And Perez has stated it is down to the player to express his intentions to leave if he really wants to. “We’ve not received any official bid for Raphael Varane. He’s at the Euros now then we will see what happens - if he wants to leave the club this summer, he’ll say it”. The departure of Varane could be the third crucial change at Real this summer after the exit of manager Zinedine Zidane and club captain Sergio Ramos.
