Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood will be given more opportunities in a central forward position next season once the club completed a protracted £75million transfer for Jadon Sancho. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are hopeful of signing Sancho in the coming days. Greenwood was predominantly used from the right flank last season, with the teenager only given fleeting opportunities in his favoured central role because of the presence of Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial. However, United believe Greenwood’s future lies through the middle and they feel the addition of Sancho could free up more opportunities for the youngster to play centrally next season.
