Following Real Madrid poor start to the season Los Blancos seriously considering the sacking of head coach Julen Lopetegui.
And now they regard Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino as a replacement for the ongoing coach.
Pochettino has been Madrid’s first choice to replace Zinedine Zidane last summer but the Argentine signed a new long-term contract in north London.
Following Lopetegui’s appointment Real Madrid are in a kind of a nightmare and remain seventh after losing three of their first nine matches this term.
Madrid now want to speak to Pochettino again and they believe Spurs boss will agree a deal with them.
However, Pochettino is unlikely to leave Spurs midway through their campaign and Tottenham owner Daniel Levy will not entertain any interest.
