Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Ferran Torres, Ederson Moraes and Gabriel Jesus will miss Saturday’s Burnley clash.
Speaking on his pre-match press conference, Guardiola provided update on his team fitness.
About Torres, Manchester City boss revealed that the Spaniard will be out for two or three and a half months.
“The injuries can happen here, at home, the national teams. It happens. I know the manager from Spain, he treats Ferran as best as possible, doesn’t want him to get injured.
“They try to take care, sometimes it happens. It happened with Kevin and Phil. Would be better not to but it hapens. We move forward, and when he comes back recovers after two or three months try to be ready” said the Catalan manager.
About the questions on Ederson and Jesus, Pep replied.
“No (they won’t play), they played overnight.”
