Chelsea outcast Marcos Alonso took a sly dig at Frank Lampard’s side on Instagram following the Blues’ 3-1 defeat to rivals Arsenal. The Spaniard has been cut out from the squad this season following the arrival of Ben Chilwell from Leicester City in a £52million deal. Alonso was instrumental in Chelsea’s last title win but he’s found himself behind Chilwell and Emerson Palmieri this term. Chelsea were woeful in their loss to rivals Arsenal at the Emirates. The Spaniard wasn’t named in Lampard’s 18-man squad that travelled to north London and the Spaniard hasn’t helped his situation at the club by ‘liking’ Chelsea’s Instagram post about the defeat against Arsenal. While Alonso may have innocently ‘liked’ the post, endorsing such a negative message is unlikely to go down well with Lampard.
