Former Bayern Munich player Willy Sagnol believes Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has "all of the conditions" to make a move to Real Madrid and a deal would suit the Red Devils for two main reasons.
Pogba has been strongly criticised for his latest season with United amid Real Madrid interest. The relationship between his agent, Mino Raiola, and the club has been at the center of the attention as well.
Raiola has often opened up on the Frenchman's possible transfer from Old Trafford while the player himself revealed he was ready for a "new challenge" last summer.
Though Pogba is still a United player, he is likely to quit the club during the summer transfer window.
And Sagnol believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will also want to see Pogba leave, with the deal giving them money to spend on new signings.
He told
RMC Sport:
"All of the conditions are there for Pogba to go to Real Madrid. Florentino [Perez] wants it, Zidane wants it, Pogba as well. I think Manchester United would be happy because they wouldn’t have to pay his high salary anymore, and they would have money to invest in new players. Everything is prepared for it to happen. I just hope we see the Pogba of France and not the Pogba of Manchester United."
