Sergio Aguero delivers direct update on Manchester City future when quizzed over Argentina return

Sergio Aguero admits he hasn’t thought too far ahead in regards to his future. The player has just over 12 months to run on his Manchester City contract. He has been linked with a return to Argentina with former club Indepeniente keen to bring him back for a swan-song. The 31-year-old remains the key part of City’s attack, however, and has scored 16 Premier League goals and 23 in all competitions so far this season. When asked about his future by TyC Sports, an Argentine YouTube channel, he said: "At the moment I am not thinking about what to do. With this, all the clubs are having problems. Up until next year, it can be extended for two months or more. There are players who end contracts this year and if it is played in July, August or September, the clubs are going to have problems. I don’t know if they can renew with players for three months or six. The first thing is to end this season and hit everything next.” Source: Express
