Manchester City suffer double injury blow ahead of the Saints clashes

Manchester City have faced double injury blow ahead of the club's two upcoming matches against Southampton. The Citizens will be on action against the Saints in the Carabao Cup on October 29 and in their Premier League fixture on November 2. Though City are favorites to win both matches, their injury problems may strongly impact on the game results. As reported by Sky Sports, Oleksandr Zinchenko was ruled out of the 5 - 1 defeat over Atalanta because of knee problem. Meanwhile, Rodri had to quit the game before the half-time after picking up a hamstring injury. Benjamin Mendy has returned to tranings and will replace Zinchenko on the left-back side, while Rodri's absence will rise the City's recent centre-back crisis.
