Manchester City to make a shock £70M bid for Real Madrid target

According to Don Balon, Manchester City have launched an offer around a £70m for Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen as a replacement for David Silva. (via CaughtOffside) It has been reported earlier that Eriksen has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. However it seems like City have the upper hand in the race for midfielder according to the report. The midfielder's contract is set to expire in the summer of 2020. During this season Eriksen has started 27 games for Tottenham with having scored 6 times and provided 9 assists.
