Lloris, Hojbjerg, Aurier: Jose Mourinh provides update on Tottenham injuries ahead of Antwerp

Tottenham are set to face Antwerp in their last Group J match in the Europa League on Thursday. With Spurs assured of qualification from the group, Jose Mourinho could decide to make big changes for the home game in order to keep key players fit for the weekend. Ahead of the game, Spurs boss talked to the media, providing injury updates on Hugo Lloris, Serge Aurier, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Erik Lamela. "Serge will miss the game yes because he had that problem before Arsenal," said Mourinho. "He had a reaction from the game. Pierre, no problems, just the fact that he couldn't play again. Now is his time, because we always try to give a rest to some players. Tanguy was a doubt until the last minute before the game. "Erik came out after the training cameras went off. I have nothing to hide. He was in the gym and then came out on to the pitches. We have lots of games coming up and in January and hopefully Lamela will be back for that." When asked on Lloris, Mourinho said: "I don't know why you ask about that. We had doubts with many problems. Hugo and then Serge Aurier. Sergio was a doubt, Tanguy was a doubt but I didn't want to come with that to the table to make it look like we were in trouble." Source- Football.London Join us on Telegram
