"They tried to get rid of him": Ian Wright claims £22m Tottenham man doesn't get enough praise

Ian Wright has shared his thoughts on Tottenham attacker Heung-min Son, claiming he deserves more praise at the club. The Korea international joined Spurs back in 2015. Wright says the Lilywhites tried to sell the player at one point, but he has gone on to establish himself as an "exceptional" winger. “Look at Son,” said former Arsenal man. “Son, for me, he doesn’t get the credit. Look at what Son does off that left. “Son had to run with it, 30 yards out, he’s curled it in. A magnificent goal. He had to go and do some unbelieveable work. He stands alone. “Look at what he’s done since he’s been here. They tried to get rid of him, in 2016. He was up for sale. “What a big mistake that would have been, a sliding doors moment. Exceptional consistency. What more do you want? What more can he do?”
