Liverpool and Juventus target James wants to return to Real Madrid

Real Madrid star James Rodriguez joined the La Liga side on 22 July 2014, after impressive World Cup performance with Colombia National Team. The Colombia international has made 111 appearances with Real Madrid, has scored 36 goals and provided 41 assists in all competitions. In the 2016/17 season, James barely played a total of 1,824 minutes in comparison to his limited 1,858 minutes last season. Despite 11 goals and 13 assists, he failed to gain proper playing time under Zinedine Zidane. James scored his opening goal of this season in a 3-1 victory over Bayern Leverkusen. Rodriguez has been linked with a move to Manchester United, Liverpool and Juventus in recent times, however, James’ number one preference right now would be a return to Madrid. James would return to Madrid at the end of the loan period next summer to fight for his place, with the likes of Ceballos, Isco, Asensio and Lucas Vazquez. The Colombia international has made 50 appearances with Bayern Munich. He has scored 11 goals and provided 16 assists.
