Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has made some comments on his teammate Ousmane Dembele’s possible transfer to Arsenal. Dembele has been linked with a move to Arsenal since the summer but Messi’s comments slimmed the chances of his move to none. The Gunners are expected to dip into transfer market in January to find a replacement for Danny Welbeck who is set to miss the remainder of the season due to ankle injury. However, Dembele would be the popular choice amongst supporters. "We are happy for Dembele," the Argentine told reporters ."Today he has scored again and is animated and will do very well. "We need Dembele," Messi said following Barca’s win over Espanyol. Messi's comments come hot on the heels of Nelson Semedo stating Delmbele is "totally committed" to Barcelona following talk regarding a move away from the Nou Camp. "He is an excellent player, with a lot of potential and will help us a lot," he said . "He is totally committed to the team. Now he is more responsible and is showing it in the field. "It must continue like this, and I am convinced that it will."
