Giannis Antetokounmpo attracts the attention of chess world

Giannis Antetokounmpo has attracted the interest of the chess players, as he posted a photo of him and his girlfriend playing chess. Milwaukee Bucks superstar loves playing chess and started playing through former teammate Tony Snell. He plays chess in order to challenge his mind and to distract him from the game of basketball, although he was rarely successful in that. “I’m like, ‘The only reason I’m playing chess right now is to get my mind off basketball.’ So, I’m still thinking about basketball! So, I’m getting ready to make a move and I’m like, ‘Ahhh, s—! I’m thinking about basketball again'," he said back in 2017. Worldwide chess stars were quick to respond to Giannis' post and here is what they said: Garry Kasparov: "Let me know if you need some remote tips, MVP!" Magnus Carlsen: "Chess is tough, it takes skill, you can't just be 7 feet and dunk over everybody."
