Gerard Pique gets a yellow card on purpose to ensure playing in El Clasico

Gerard Pique is accused of intentionally getting a yellow in order to play against Real Madrid in the upcoming El Clasico, claims Marca. Barcelona centre-back received his fifth yellow card of the season on Sunday’s 4-0 win over Sevilla. Therefore, Pique will miss La Liga's next fixture with Eibar which will be the first game after the international break but a week later he will be able to play against Real Madrid at Camp Nou.
