Former Liverpool-man is still struggling at Barcelona: What teammates think of Coutinho?

Philippe Coutinho has one more time disappointed with his performance against Real Madrid during Copa Del Rey semifinals first leg at Camp Nou. Despite being in starting lineup of Ernesto Valverde’s team, brazilian failed to convince his coach and was substituted in the second half by Lionel Messi. Coutinho has joined Blaugrana from Liverpool year ago. His first months at Catalan club were impressive, but during current campaign he still fails to keep the level he had shown back then. Moreover, according to media, he could leave Barcelona, as several EPL clubs are interested in signing the midfielder. His teammates, however, keep on backing him, as they believe Coutinho could regain his confidence and become a key player for Barcelona. Reported German Bona says (via Mirror): “The squad believe in Coutinho and the players are convinced that sooner or later he will justify the hype around him and the club’s investment from last January,” “Nobody is throwing in the towel on Coutinho, the opposite. The players believe that he can succeed and the magic will return. “He is going through difficult moments and the player doesn’t seem to have found his place on the pitch, but he behaves exquisitely off the field in his manners and professionalism. “That is valued by his team-mates and they have nothing to complain about, which has earned him support."
