ESPN has published their ranking of 50 Premier League worst signing in history of the tournament.

Ali Dia’s move from Blyth Spartans to Southampton in 1996 leads the ranking. Senegalese international’s transfer was ridiculous, because back then Saints representatives believed he was legendary Liberian forward George Weah’s cousin.

1.Ali Dia (Blyth Spartans – Southampton, 1996)

2.Danny Drinkwater (Leicester City – Chelsea, 2017)

3.Ricardo Alvarez (Inter Milan – Sunderland, 2015)
