Tottenham drop asking price for Manchester United target

Tottenham have dropped the asking price for Christian Eriksen at about less than £40 million. Last summer Eriksen has noted that he would not want to renew his deal with Spurs, which expires in July 2020. The 27-year-old midfielder repeated his desire to leave last week and he is believed to be wanting to join a club like Manchester United, but he also prefers leaving Premier League. Tottenham are now reported to accept a figure less than £40 million for the Danish international if United target him again. However, Eriksen is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from January 1st. Jose Mourinho would not block Eriksen's move to Manchester as he prefers players that want to play for the club. Source- Metro
