Chelsea player Danny Drinkwater charged with drink driving

Chelsea player Danny Drinkwater has been charged with drink driving after leaving a party with a glamorous lawyer at 12:30 am then crashing his Range Rover into a Skoda on a country lane. In a statement, Cheshire Police said: “A 29-year-old from Nether Alderley has been charged with drink driving following an incident in Cheshire. “Danny Drinkwater, of Bollington Lane, was arrested shortly after 12.30am on Monday 8 April following a one-vehicle collision on Ashley Road in Mere. “He has been released on unconditional bail and is set to appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court on Monday 13 May.” Last Friday, Drinkwater and other Chelsea stars were pictured making their way out of Raffles nightclub. He was snapped leaving the club between 1 and 2 am. Raffles claims to be “one of Chelsea’s most popular nightclubs”. Source- Daily Mail
