Arsenal's Mesut Ozil heaps enormous praise on Tottenham-linked defender

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil raved about Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos – amid reports that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the veteran Spaniard. The  34-year-old continues to shine for Real Madrid – having scored his 100th goal in all competitions for Real Madrid earlier this season. Almost 16 years after joining the Spanish champions, Ramos has played 667 times for Madrid. Ozil – another former teammate of Ramos – responded to a question about the Spain skipper during the Twitter Q&A and claimed that the Spurs-linked defender is the “best defender” of his generation, praising the player’s ambition.
