Zinedine Zidane sends a message to Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool ahead of Round of 16 draw
Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has joked when asked if they would like to avoid Liverpool in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
Zidane and Klopp face in 2017/18 Champions League final in Kiev. Real Madrid beat Liverpool back then 3-1, while Merseyside club won the title year after in Madrid.
Los Blancos have finished second in their group after Paris-Saint Germain and now could face Liverpool in the round of 16.
"If we play Liverpool, we will eliminate them." Zidane told reporters after the Brugge match (via Daily Mirror).
He added: "We can't do anything about the draw."
Champions League Round of 16 draw will happen on 16 December.
