Wolverhampton Wanderers’ midfielder Leander Dendoncker will miss the international duty with Belgium through illness.
Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez revealed in a press conference that Dendoncker would be out of the upcoming clash with San Marino and could even miss the game after that.
“Dendoncker will miss the game (on Wednesday),” said the Spanish coach. “He wasn’t fit to train. We still haven’t taken a decision about the Kazakhstan match.”
As Martinez didn’t say what was wrong with Dendoncker, RTBF claims that Wolves star was out due to gastroenteritis.
