Manchester United injury update and expected return dates

Manchester United have tried to make lucky steps after the clubs’ most successful coach Alex Fergusson’s retirement. But the last six years made the Red Devils fall down over and over. Yet, the new season seems to be the worst one led by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Red Devils are standing on the 12th place in the Premier League table near the relegation zone after their 1 - 0 defeat to Newcastle United. United fans see their desires concerning team success is broken down. But is the club boss the one to be blamed for such results? The Red Devils have recently played without the performers that could bring some light into the Red Devil’s dark season. Their absence affected hugely on the club’s game quality. Here is the list of Manchester United players who were out of the game because of their injuries. Anthony Martial The winger started first three games of the season with two goals and one assist. After picking up a hamstring injury during the clash against Crystal Palace on 24 August, he has to miss the last nine games of United. The player is hoped to return to the game after the international break on October 20 clash against Liverpool, though it is still unclear. Paul Pogba The ankle injury worries the central midfielder since August, having brought him out of the last games against Leicester and West Ham. Lately, the Frenchman has posted a video in Dubai, showing the process of his recovery. The 26-year-old is expected to return in October as well. Victor Lindelof The Swedish defender has missed the clash against Newcastle because of his back injury. He corresponds well with his teammate Harry Maguire, that will make the United boss include him at the squad as soon as possible. The 25-year-old is possible to take part in Sweden's EURO 2020 qualifiers and the Red Devils clash against Liverpool. Aaron Wan-Bissaka After the sparkling start, the full-back had to miss the last three games because of a bout of tonsillitis. The defence hugely suffered of his absence. Though Solskjaer has talked about the defender's return after the international break, Jones’ come back is still under question. Diogo Dalot The Portuguese player hasn’t been in action so many times this season because of his hip problem, yet, he picked up another injury during the Newcastle clash. It is unknown when the youngster will return to the game. Timothy Fosu-Mensah The Dutch midfielder is still recovering from the knee injury he gained while playing on loan at Fulham last season. Now the player is in the last year of his contract, which is possible to be the last one for the player at United.
