'What's going on?' - Pundit predicts Daniel Levy to sack Nuno Espirito Santo after latest update

Kevin Campbell fears Nuno Espirito Santo will be sacked next year after his contract details got revealed. Speaking to Football Insider, the former Premier League striker said it would be “just typical” of Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to sack Nuno, when he is in the process of rebuilding. According to The Athletic‘s David Ornstein, Tottenham can sack their manager next summer, with no compensation, if he fails to deliver a top-six finish. However, a club spokesman has denied the existence of such a clause. When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of the news, Campbell replied:
“I don’t think they will get top six.   “When you look at the teams around them, their form and the fact that they didn’t finish in the top six last season – it doesn’t bode well. Yes, they have finished their previously but this league is relentless. Teams are strengthening left, right and centre. Anyone can beat anyone so it is not a given.   “Wouldn’t this just be typical. They don’t finish in the top six, he’s trying to build something and they get rid of him for somebody else. That would be typical.   “You need continuity sometimes. Daniel Levy is Daniel Levy though. He is going to do what he wants.   “There seems to be a lot of issues at that football club. What is going on behind those corridors?”
