Wayne Rooney offers verdict on United transfer interest in Harry Maguire

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has backed his former club’s attempt to sign Harry Maguire of Leicester City. The Red Devils saw a £70million bid rejected by the Foxes who have slapped a £90million price tag on the central defender. Rooney believes Maguire would be a good fit for United. Speaking to ESPN, he said: "I think Harry's a good player and over the last few years he's improved as a player. He's gotten better, and he's been a main player for Leicester City, but also for England. I think he'd be a good signing if they can get him."
