Virgil van Dijk shows his class in brilliant interview straight after missing out on Ballon d'Or

Lionel Messi won his sixth Ballon d’Or on Monday night. The Argentine beat both Virgil van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo. Van Dijk was present and he showed his class by giving a brilliant interview after the result. "Unfortunately there are a couple of players like him [Messi] that are unnatural," the Liverpool defender said. "He's fantastic, six times the Ballon D'Or [winner]. You need to respect greatness as well...I was close, but it was just someone who was a little bit better. "I'm very proud of what I've achieved last year and hopefully we can do that again this year."  Source - GMS
