Ozil, Mkhitaryan and 5 other players' Arsenal future in doubt as Emery makes decision

Unai Emery is ready to put seven Arsenal players for sale as summer transfer window approaches. The Spaniard wants to bolster his squad at the end of the season and has a budget of £45million, so the boss is ready to put a number of first-team players up for sale as he is concerned about the quality of his current squad. It’s is claimed that Mustafi, who was disappointing in that loss to the Eagles, is among the players up for sale at the Emirates. Arsenal have tried to sell the defender in the last two summers and though they have struggled to find a buyer, they will again look to part ways with him. Big-earners Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are also available as Arsenal look to reduce their huge wage bill. And Emery has also been told that fringe players Carl Jenkinson and Mohamed Elneny can be sold if there is any interest from other clubs. Arsenal will listen to offers for out-of-favour Mohamed Elneny and Carl Jenkinson – who both started Sunday’s 3-2 loss to Palace – while Calum Chambers and David Ospina will likely be sold. Arsenal have already cut the squad’s wage bill ahead of next season by offloading Aaron Ramsey, who is set to sign a lucrative contract with Juventus. Premier League legend Petr Cech will also retire at the end of the current campaign, while Danny Welbeck is expected to leave when his contract expires.
