UFC: Omar Morales-Gabriel Benitez, Anthony Smith-Glover Teixeira. Fight preview and odds

Following the fight between Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje, another entertaining day awaits for UFC fans on Wednesday, May 13. Eleven fights will take place on the day. Gaethje stepped into the gap after Khabib Nurmagomedov could not travel from Russia and was forced to pull out of facing Ferguson for the fifth time. Gaethje claimed the UFC lightweight interim title in Florida. On May 14, Omar Morales will face Gabriel Benitez and Anthony Smith will go head to head with Glover Teixeira.

Morales will face the "Moggly" in a 155-pound bout, which will be the first lightweight appearance for Benitez in the UFC. The 31-year-old Benitez is 5-3 since making his UFC debut in 2014, but he holds a 21-7 record overall. In his last fight, he lost by second-round TKO to Sodiq Yusuff, by ending his two-fight winning line. Morales, 34, made his debut in December and beat Dong Hyun Ma. The fighter signed a contract with Dana White's Contender Series last year. The Venezuelan has won seven of his professional bouts by knockout or submission. Anthony Smith VS Glover Teixeira

The headliner of the day will be the fight between Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira. The 31- year-old Smith is 33-14. The fighter is known as a warrior as he has been an underdog in several of his victories over top opponents. Smith's nickname is "Lionheart" and he has made his debut in 2016. Smith, currently ranked No. 3 in the UFC’s light heavyweight rankings. Teixeira, meanwhile, seeks an opportunity to hop back into the top-five. Teixeira, 40, has a record of 30-7. He has provided a combination of a deadly ground game and some elite-level boxing offence for the best eight years inside a UFC octagon.
