Khabib Nurmagomedov sends message to Tony Ferguson after Gaethje defeated him at UFC 249

Khabib Nurmagomedov has sent a message to Tony Ferguson after underdog Justin Gaethje delivered an impressive performance in the biggest fight of his career to end Ferguson’s 12-fight winning streak. "Whatever happened is in the past. Heads up Tony, I hope everything is good with you and your family. When your son grow up, he’ll be proud with you," Khabib wrote on Twitter.

Gaethje stepped into the gap after Nurmagomedov could not travel from Russia and was forced to pull out of facing Ferguson for the fifth time. Gaethje claimed the UFC lightweight interim title in Florida.
