Former Arsenal and Sevilla forward Jose Antonio Reyes passed away today following a car crash at the age of 35. UEFA released a statement that there will be a touching tribute inside Atletico's Wanda Metropolitano Stadium before tonight’s Champions League final in honour of the player.
The Spaniard spent five years in Madrid with both Atletico and Real during his illustrious career.
Arsenal have also payed tribute today by lowering is flag with former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger saying: "I am devastated to hear the terrible news about Jose. To his family and friends, all support from everyone in the Arsenal family.
"He will remain forever in our hearts."
A statement released by UEFA read: "A moment's silence will be observed at today's Champions League final in Madrid in memory of Jose Antonio Reyes who died in a traffic accident on Saturday."
