Tottenham Hotspur fans have been discussing the transfer rumour linking their side with a move for Leicester City winger Demarai Gray. Football Insider reported how Spurs boss Jose Mourinho had spoken to Gray personally in a bid to convince him to move to his club. According to the same website, Leicester have placed a £20 million price tag on the former Birmingham City forward. Gray struggled for form in 2019-20, starting only three times for Brendan Rodgers' side. Gray, who is now into the final year of his contract at City, could be a cheap option for Mourinho. Their fans aren't so keen though. "Like we need another wide player," one fan said. "Does (Spurs chairman) Daniel Levy just pick cheap players that he thinks a profit can be made on?" "It’s a typical Spurs move if we do sign him but I’m not sure I believe it at the moment," another fan said. A third fan said: "Do we need a winger who cant get games for Leicester?" "It’s a head-scratcher," said another supporter. A fifth fan added: "Oh good, I was just going to say we're getting short on wingers we've only about 37 of them."
