Tottenham have held preliminary discussions over signing long-time target Demarai Gray from Leicester City this summer, according to Football Insider. Spurs manager Jose Mourinho has stepped up his pursuit of the wide forward. Mourinho has personally spoken to Gray, as he looks to convince him to move to north London. Gray is believed to be open to the possibility of moving to Tottenham after failing to earn a regular starting spot in Brendan Rodgers’ side. The winger is predominantly used as a substitute by the Foxes and made just three Premier League starts last season among 29 appearances in all competitions. He has entered the final year of his contract at Leicester.
