Trent Alexander-Arnold reveals what Jurgen Klopp did to help Liverpool players in title race

Liverpool was in a tough title race with Manchester City but lost the chance to win the Premier League title just being one point behind the Citizens. The Reds defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has revealed how Jurgen Klopp helped his players deal with the pressure of maintaining their challenge for the Premier League title. "He helps us to relax before games, to not take things in too intense a manner," said Alexander-Arnold. "We know that probably since mid-December time, the media have wanted to tell us that is was just a two-team contest and that the title race only started then. But we have always just focused on ourselves. "Even before the last international break of the season it's basically been 'must-win' games, but the manager's helped us not to think that way. "He's just encouraged us to play our football and know that we're good enough to win each game without that actual pressure of 'you have to win'. "It's more about our performance, our mentality going into games. I think it helps us as a team to just relax and improve and keep trying to do as well as possible for him, for each other and for the supporters." Liverpool have another chance to win a trophy this season as they are preparing to play a Champions League final game against Tottenham.
