Trent Alexander-Arnold reveals what has helped the Reds to become a stronger side

Trent Alexander-Arnold has revealed that setbacks have made Liverpool a stronger side. Jurgen Klopp's side missed out on becoming Champions League winners back in 2018, however, a year later, the Reds reached the final again and this time they became the champions. In 2019, Liverpool were close to winning the Premier League as well but they missed out on the chance as they were one point behind the league champions - Manchester City. This year, the Reds have started the new season with a perfect run as currently they are leading the league table with maximum points. And in an interview with Premier League Productions, Alexander-Arnold said: “The players that we have in our side have all had failures before, we’ve all had setbacks and knockbacks. “We’ve really bounced back from there and got to where we are now and where we are as a team. The biggest example of that is probably the fact that we lost the Champions League final the season before and were able to use that as motivation to get back there and win it the next season. “It’s something a lot of teams aren’t capable of, but we’ve showed that we are and we’re able to get better from disappointment.”
