Earlier this week it has been reported that Arsenal are again interested in their January transfer target Yannick Carrasco. It has been reported that the Gunners are ready to land the winger, who is currently playing for Dalian Yifang.
According to Sacha Tavolieri (via Chris Davison), Carrasco's agent is working hard to close the deal.
"As I told you, the agent of Carrasco is working really hard to close the deal of Carrasco. The deal is more around the €25M mark but it edges closer every single day," said Tavolieri.
"Carrasco is already ok with the destination and contractually has agreed the basis terms that are offered by Arsenal.
"Arsenal have not put an offer fully on the table because they are waiting for the final agreement with all parties. For the moment, there is not officially a signature from Wang, president of Dalian.
"However, you can say that he has forgot about the idea of retaining Yannick in China. From all those facts, you can consider that the situation is evolving pretty nice for the transfer of Carrasco to Arsenal."
