Tottenham defender Sergio Reguilon has claimed that Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is his toughest Premier League opponent.
De Bruyne is undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the world right now, however, he hasn't shown his best form this season due to injury problems.
Asked about his toughest opponent in the Premier League by
Amazon Prime, Reguilon answered by naming the three-goal Manchester City star.
“I think Kevin De Bruyne [is the toughest opponent in the Premier League],” the Spurs star said.
“Control, quality, too intelligent, brilliant player, top class.”
Last season De Bruyne had a hand in 28 goals in his 40 games – scoring 10 and creating 18. In 2019-20, he scored 16 and created 23 in just 48 games.
