Tottenham Hotspur are still keen on signing the Sporting captain Bruno Fernandes, claims A Bola.
On Wednesday, the Portuguese newspaper published an article about Fernandes’ possible departure from Sporting to Tottenham, and on Tuesday they brought another article about that.
There had been discussions about the 25-year-old’s contract renewal earlier this season and currently, they are in deadlock. The Portuguese club have no guarantee that Fernandes will stay at the team as he is still heavily linked with a move to Tottenham.
There had been many speculations on how much Spurs would have offered for the attacking midfielder and most common was €70m, with €20m of if there were performance bonuses, which included the titles of Premier League and Champions League.
