Raheem Sterling has been rewarded for his work in cutting down racism in football after being named on the Football Black List for 2019.
The awards, which is celebrating the game’s most influential black people, were started in 2008.
Manchester City star leads the list for his stance on addressing racism.
Co-founder of the list, Leon Mann said: “Raheem has made such a huge impact in the last year on and off the pitch. His vital words and actions in confronting issues of racism and how the black community is treated cannot be downplayed.”
