Tottenham reach out to Real Madrid for Sergio Ramos transfer

Tottenham Hotspur are one of many clubs around Europe to have reached out to Sergio Ramos’ representatives about the possibility of a transfer, with the Real Madrid legend currently in the final year of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu, report 90min. Ramos is one of the most decorated stars in Real Madrid’s illustrious history, having won five La Liga titles, two Copas del Rey and four Champions League trophies in the Spanish capital. The centre-back still seems to be going strong at 34 years of age but the report reveals that talks of a renewal are still on-going with the Real Madrid hierarchy, with no agreement reached as of yet. It is claimed that the centre-back is keeping his options open and has not ruled out the possibility of signing a one-year extension at Real Madrid and leaving in the summer of 2022. Spurs will have a massive battle on their hands to convince the World Cup winner to come to North London, considering offers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Japan, while Paris Saint-Germain and David Beckham’s Inter Miami are also keen on landing him.
