Tottenham and Manchester City ready to do battle for £6m-rated star

Manchester City and Tottenham are in the line to sign Sunderland star Josh Maja, according to the Mirror. The 19-year-old player has scored 11 goals for the Black Cats. His form attracted interest from many clubs and has given  Sunderland a headache. Sunderland boss Jack Ross revealed there is no update over a new deal for Maja: “There is no update. He will be here minimum until January. I would expect him to be here longer than that. I am confident of that. I know he is enjoying it. He is playing and contributing. He is only young. To get 11 goals so far, he deserves huge credit.” The same report suggests that The Black Cats would find a £6million offer too difficult to turn down.
