REVEALED: Manchester United willing to take big loss on Pogba sale. His move to United forced FIFA to review transfer rules

Paul Pogba’s move from Manchester United has been in the headlines for months since his relationship with  United boss Jose Mourinho went wrong. The France international and World Cup winner has been linked with a move to Barcelona and even with a return to his former club Juventus. According to the Tuttosport, Juventus are preparing a €60m bid to lure the player back, while Manchester United’s evaluation is about €20m more. Having spent €105m on signing Pogba less than three years ago. The Red Devils are willing to take a major loss on the return of Paul Pogba to Juventus. Meanwhile, Paul Ince says, he doesn’t believe Paul Pogba when he claims that he is happy at Manchester United. “I can’t say I’m surprised to hear about the Paul Pogba rumours, suggesting he’s interested in leaving Old Trafford in January,” Ince told Paddy Power. “He said recently that he was happy at Manchester United, but I didn’t believe any of that. The club will have to think carefully about whether they’re happy to let him go, though I’d say his behaviour over the last year or so would make that decision easier. I believe a Pogba move away from United would suit both parties. If we’re being honest, he’s never settled on his return to the club. He’s been inconsistent in his performances, going from world class to looking bang average, and there’s always been whispers and transfer talk surrounding him in that time.” However, Pogba’s move to Juventus is still not guaranteed due to the player’s personal demands. Pogba has made it clear he doesn’t want to take a cut from his €10m-a-year - plus bonuses earnings to return to Turin. Should Juventus agree on his terms, Pogba would become the second highest paid at the club behind Cristiano Ronaldo. While football world discussing Pogba’s return to Juventus, FIFA reviews its transfer rules after Paul Pogba’s move to United from Juve, according to Football Leaks. According to German magazine Der Spiegel, leaked internal documents at FIFA Showed that the organisation’s disciplinary committee decided against pursuing a case because of unclear legal footing. The disciplinary committee at FIFA also investigated whether there had been a breach of third-party ownership (TPO) rules by Juventus. Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola earned £41.4m while representing all three parties involved in the deal — Juventus, United and Pogba. Juventus alone paid him £24m while United gave him a fee of £16m. There was a deal between Raiola and Juventus in 2012 — prior to FIFA's ban on TPO — that he would receive €18m plus a three-fifths bonus of any sum paid for Pogba above €90m. FIFA’s report also questioned whether United were aware that Raiola was working for Juventus and them.
