Tottenham Hotspur set to make shock move for La Liga star

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a shock move for Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman has joined his former club Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan last summer from Barcelona, with an option of permanent deal by 2023. According to Fichajes, Antonio Conte could be gifted a new attacking option in the form of the Frenchman. And his desire to strengthen the squad this month is no secret. The report says that Griezmann could be "enticed" by the prospect of joining Spurs since Conte took the reins at the start of November. The 30-year-old's transfer fee is thought to be around the £40m mark. However, his wages of £300,000 a week - the amount currently earned by Harry Kane - could be a block.
