Bild say RB Leipzig have offered him a bumper new contract with that sum as the release clause. Werner could choose to stay at Bundesliga which would give Liverpool their price if they decide they want to land their man in the summer.
The truth is that Jurgen Klopp would have benefited if Werner joined the Reds. He would improve Liverpool’s current situation by offering yet another dimension to their attack.
