  Football is more than just a game now. Every football club in the world is now a part of the business. Every business judged by the money it makes and we even have the list of the richest football clubs in the world. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are leading the list of the richest clubs, but London club Chelsea are also in the list. The Blues are in the eighth place of the list with €505.7 Million (£448 Million or $570.9 Million) revenue in 2019. Chelsea’s total valuation is £1.97 Billion and it is no wonder, that Roman Abramovich’s side are paying a huge amount of wages to their players. Following the departure of David Luiz and Eden Hazard in the summer, Chelsea’s wage bill has dropped. Chelsea’s wage bill for the 2019/20 campaign is approximately £98.65m. The Blues have the third highest wage bill in premiere league in the 2016-17 season. Their total wage bill that season is estimated around £218 Million. Chelsea had the highest wage bill in the Premier league in 2015-16 season.  The wage bill of Chelsea for 2018 was £225 million a £10 million increment from last season due to contract extensions.
