Goalkeepers play a vital part for their club or country. They not only keep clean sheets and win games for their side but sometimes also score goals or provide assists.

During the 2022/23 season there were several goalkeepers that stood out for their sides like Emi Martinez who helped Argentina to win World Cup, or Ederson who won treble with Manchester City.

Let's take a look at goalkeepers who could stand out in 2024.

#10 Andre Onana (Manchester United)

Onana delivered a remarkable goalkeeping display in the 2023 Champions League final, showcasing exceptional saves and demonstrating precise distribution.

Despite his team ultimately losing 1-0 to Manchester City, he solidified his status as one of the top goalkeepers globally. In July 2023, Onana made a move to Manchester United.

Bounou maintained his impressive performance following his pivotal contribution to Morocco's historic journey to the FIFA World Cup 2022™ semi-finals. In August 2023, the 32-year-old goalkeeper transferred to Al Hilal, a club in the Saudi Pro League.

Although Courtois' Real Madrid team couldn't secure a successful defense of their UEFA Champions League title, his exceptional displays earned him a spot in the competition's Team of the Season.
